Warranty & Returns
Try it for 30 days. We’ll stand behind it for two years.
Buying a cane online means committing to something you haven’t held yet. We get that. So we’ve made both ends of it low risk: take a month to decide whether Rise Cane works for you, and if something goes wrong with it after that, we’ll fix it.
30-day returns
Walk with it. That’s the only way to know.
You have 30 days from the day it arrives to send it back for a full refund. Used is fine. Scuffed is fine. We’d rather you take it to the grocery store, up your stairs, and around the block than make a decision by looking at it in the box. A cane that’s been used for three weeks tells you something a cane that’s been unwrapped doesn’t.
How to start a return
- Email support@risecane.com with your order number. One line is enough.
- We’ll send you a prepaid label and return instructions within one business day.
- Once it reaches us, your refund goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
If it shows up damaged or wrong
Don’t bother with the return process, email us with a photo, and we’ll replace it or refund you, whichever you’d rather, and you keep the original.
Two-year warranty
We cover Rise Cane against defects in materials and workmanship.
The tip and grip are shorter because they’re wear parts. They’re meant to be replaced, just like the sole of a shoe. Two years on the structure, including the folding joints and the internal cord, is the part that matters.
No registration. We don’t make you fill out a form to activate anything. Your order is your proof of purchase, and we already have it.
How to make a claim
- Email support@risecane.com with your order number and a photo or two of the problem.
- We’ll look at it and get back to you within 10 business days.
- If it’s covered, we ship you a replacement. You don’t need to send the old one back.
What’s covered
Anything that failed because of how it was made. Cracked shaft section, joints that won’t seat or lock, an internal cord that’s gone slack, handle separating, grip coming loose in the first 90 days.
What isn’t
- Damage from use above the 220lb weight limit
- Use of the cane while the sections aren’t fully seated and locked
- Normal wear, including the tip wearing down over time
- Replacement tips or parts we didn’t make
- Modification or repair by someone else
- Rental or institutional use
- Accidents, misuse, or use in conditions the instructions tell you to avoid
- Scratches and marks that don’t affect how it works
Full terms are in our Terms of Sale and Use.
Replacement tips
Tips wear out. That’s normal, and it’s not a defect. But a worn tip is the most common reason a cane starts slipping, so it’s worth staying ahead of it.
Check yours monthly. If the tread is smooth, if the rubber is cracked, or if you notice it gripping less well than it used to, replace it.
Replacement tips (2) are $14 at risecane.com/replacement-tips. Use ours. Other tips haven’t been tested with Rise Cane and may not grip the same way.
FAQ
Yes. You have 30 days to try it.
Email us. We’ll swap it, and we’d rather do that than have you keep a cane at the wrong height. If you’re not sure which size you need, our size guide walks through it.
The warranty covers the original purchaser. But the safety information printed on the cane stays with it, which matters more.
No. The limit is 220 lb based on testing. We don't have a heavier model as of now.
Email us anyway. We'd rather look at it than have you keep using a cane you're unsure about.
